Paddy Bradley and Kevin McCloy Visit St Mary's College
Declan Brown a player greeted the duo and welcomed them to his school.Many pupils asked very interesting questions on the prospects for the Derry team this year to players they admired or very tough opponents. Ania Knapp from Poland asked what was the future for immigrants like herself who wanted to play gaelic games.
Jack McKernan from Greenlough club gave an oration at the end of the session and spoke of how it would be a dream of his to be in the same position as Paddy and Kevin in about 10 years time.
Of course some of the pupils let these two players know that the first All Ireland Camogie All Star Aisling Diamond was indeed a past pupils of their school and someone they ere very proud of. The hoped to meet her again very soon in their school also.
This was a very enjoyable evening for this year group and one these impressionable youngsters will never forget.
